Background:

Richard Szczesny, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant practicing in Lansing, MI. He works with our hospitalist team to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to those in the inpatient setting. He enjoys getting to know his patients and promote overall health and wellness to assist with disease management. He is certified through the National Certifying Committee of PAs.

Education:

Richard obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Health Promotions Specialization from Michigan State University in 2014. He spent several years as a Medical Scribe, Orthopedic Technician, and Nursing Assistant in Lansing prior to attending PA school at the University of Toledo. He joined the CIMA team in January 2020.

Personal Information:

Richard was born in Allen Park, MI. Outside of work, he is an avid sports fan, specifically Spartan Athletics. He enjoys playing golf, snowboarding, outdoor activities, and exercising in his free time. He looks forward to assisting with the training of PA students, and one day hopes to work in PA education.
