Background:

Makenzie grew up in Ionia, Michigan. She went to Grand Valley State University and got her Bachelor of Science degree there. She then went on to the University of Michigan Flint for her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She previously worked at Trinity Health at IHA hospital medicine. She also worked as a float in Ann Arbor, Livonia, and Howell. Prior to this she lived all over the state of Michigan, moving often for school. She enjoys every area of medicine, but she particularly enjoys women’s health and obstetrics.

Makenzie enjoys spending weekends on her pontoon at the lake and walking her 3 corgis.
