Dr. Lee Jordan is a Family Medicine Physician (M.D).

Background:

Dr. Jordan is a family physician dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients across the lifespan. He has a special interest in preventive and lifestyle medicine and enjoys helping patients make meaningful, lasting improvements in their health. He believes that everyday choices can have a profound impact on well-being and is passionate about helping patients prevent and manage chronic disease while pursuing their personal health and fitness goals. His goal is to build strong relationships with patients and provide care that is both practical and personalized. He values the trust patients place in their physician and believes that the best medical care begins with listening. He enjoys global health, travel medicine, working with refugees, and lifestyle medicine.

Personal Information:

Dr. Jordan grew up in Detroit, MI until the age of 10 and then moved to the Lansing area, graduating from Holt. He then enlisted in the US Air Force. After serving for 12 years, he started medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), Bethesda, MD and completed his family medicine residency in Belleville, IL a program of St. Louis University (SLU), all while active duty.

During his 26 years in the US Air Force, he lived in Texas, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, Illinois, but the place he lived the longest (11 years) was in Okinawa, Japan, where he met and married his wife. He has 2 children, and two grandchildren. He enjoys outdoor activities, travel with family, volunteering at church and studying Japanese. He has been to 27 countries and practiced medicine in 7. He has moved around a lot, but he is happy to be back in the Lansing area!
