Background:
Kristal Richardson-Aubrey, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed by the State of Michigan to provide comprehensive, family-centered healthcare across the lifespan. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Michigan State University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical leadership, and quality improvement.
Kristal began her career as an intensive care nurse at McLaren Hospital, serving for more than six years in a high-acuity environment that strengthened her clinical judgment, critical thinking, and commitment to patient advocacy. For the past nine years, she has practiced in internal medicine and primary care, delivering holistic, relationship-centered care to diverse patient populations. Her professional interests include health promotion, chronic disease management, and preventative care.
A native of the Lansing area, Kristal is dedicated to serving her community with excellence, compassion, and integrity. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in her local church community, and traveling.
