Heather Loznak is a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Background:

Heather grew up in Elsie, Michigan. She received her bachelor’s degree at MSU in Family and Consumer Science and her BSN in Nursing. She later went to LCC to complete her RN nursing degree and then to Spring Arbor to graduate with her Family Practice Nurse Practitioner degree. She resided in Williamston and has worked at Sparrow for over 16 years and at McLaren Palliative Care. She enjoys building relationships with many patients and listening to their wishes. If she can bring any brighter days for patients that is the best medicine. Even if she is just a listening ear and lets them know they are a part of their plan. She enjoys trying to align medical care with the patient’s wishes to help them be empowered in their plan of care.

Personal Information:

Heather has a 15-year-old son named Ashton. She enjoys traveling and spending time at sporting events for her son. Advanced Directives and tough times in life can be overwhelming and scary. She is always open to being contacted for help and to take some of the burden off patients and their families when reviewing medical wishes and completing DPOA paperwork. She is grateful to work together with patients through tough times and hoping for better times in the future.
