Background:

Cheryl is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who grew up in Wellsboro, PA . She went to Keuka College in New York where she received her BSN. After college she worked with adolescents in psychiatric units and was part of a day treatment program as a floor nurse. She went on to become a Nurse Manager, Program Director, and Director of Nursing. Later on she went to Michigan State University where she graduated in 1999 with her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN, FNP). Cheryl worked at MSU Endocrinology where she helped patients with adult diabetes and thyroid diseases. She has also worked with gastroenterology/hepatology, hospice, and family practice. She enjoys promoting health, preventative care, and women’s health. She is married to a retired school social worker, John, and has one daughter. Cheryl enjoys photography, outdoor activities, listening to music, and learning more about alternative medicine in her spare time.
